Developed through in-depth research into Arita ceramics and historical local works, Scholten & Baijings’ Colour Porcelain reinterprets traditional Japanese colours—such as aquarelle blue, light green, red-orange, and ochre—into contemporary, highly functional tableware. Layered glazes in varied textures and tones interact with the natural white of the porcelain, reflecting the classic Arita colour spectrum while offering a distinctly European perspective on Japanese craft.
